IC CARD READER/WRITER AND IC CARD READING/DISPLAY DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely read or write data from/in an IC card even when the configuration of a reading/writing part is miniaturized and the IC card is carried and moved at a high speed. SOLUTION: This IC card reading/display device is provided with a current supplying coil 12 wound around a columnar core 11 and an iron piece member 14 opposed to one end face of the coil 12, and when a current is supplied to the coil 12 at the passage of an IC card 15 constituted of connecting a current receiving loop-like coil to an IC chip and storing the chip in a casing, a line of electromagnetic force is applied from the coil 12 to the loop-like coil of the card to allow a current to flow into the loop-like coil and read/write information from/in the IC chip of the IC card.
