PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a testing device which automates the test, of a magnetic disk apparatus single body, which is performed by an inpsector by hands in conventional cases. SOLUTION: A testing device 10 for a magnetic disk apparatus single body 12 is provided with a computer 28 on which a general-purpose interface bus(GPIB) is mounted. By the computer 28, a spectrum analyzer 22 which is used to measure the frequency characteristic of a servo system test and an oscilloscope 24 which is used to measure the output waveform of a read/write system test are controlled via a GPIB device 30. The testing device 10 is provided with jigs 14 which fix the magnetic disk apparatus single body 12 so as to be detachable, and the apparatus single body 12 can be fixed simply and stably. When a test is started, a power supply at the magnetic disk apparatus single body 12 is turned on automatically, and the power supply is cut off automatically when the test is finished. |
