Unit correcting drift in signal from e.g. acceleration and pressure sensors

A monitoring unit integrated in the control circuitry, detects excessive offset between desired and actual values. The monitoring unit includes an analog or digital, clocked addition unit (23). Departures between actual and desired values are weighted, and the results are summed. On reaching a maximal or minimal limiting value, an error signal is produced.
