The flywheel (1) has a primary flywheel mass provided by a flywheel disc (2) mounted on the engine drive shaft and a secondary flywheel mass associated with the clutch, rotated relative to the primary flywheel mass for torsional oscillation damping. The flywheel disc has an axial annular platform at its outer periphery supporting a rotor of an electrical machine.
