PURPOSE: To develop an implant material which has no problem related to a change in the chemical composition of a natural bone material and a natural change and no weak point of unpredictable instability in a cermaic implant material using a conventional natural bone material and uses bone ceramics as a basis. CONSTITUTION: In an implant material using a natural bone as a basis, this material is characterized by being a sintered ceramic material on which a porous dense structure of a bone exists in a substantially unchangeable shape and which is composed of hydoxyapatite not less than 99%. In a manufacturing method of the implant material, this method is characterized in that a bone material from which the whole organic components are removed is treated by an aqueous solution of an organic acid selected from a group composed of an aliphatic group, a C1-5 monocarboxylic acid, a malonic acid, a tartronic acid, a succinic acid, a malic acid, a tartaric acid and a citric acid, and is sintered at a temperature of 900 to 1400 deg.C in the next place. |
