PURPOSE: A digital signal processing apparatus for automatic control and an interface method thereof are provided, in which the digital signal processing apparatus can be easily interfaced with a host computer without changing of user application programs according to the bus type of the host computer. CONSTITUTION: A digital signal processing apparatus includes a bus controller(120) and a system controller(140). The bus controller interfaced with a host computer(100) to perform transmission of data or control command between the bus of the host computer and the inner system bus(160) of the digital signal processor based on the bus type of the host computer. The system controller processes a control signal from the digital signal processor to generate a control signal for controlling external input/output devices interfaced to an analog circuit processor and the digital signal processor.
