FIREPROOF CONSTRUCTION FOR SHIELD TUNNEL LINING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To construct the fireproof structure of a shield tunnel at a low cost in a short period. SOLUTION: This fireproof construction 10 is installed along the inner peripheries of cylindrically assembled segments 12 to cover them. The fireproof construction 10 is provided with fireproof panels 14 and a space 16 formed between the inner peripheries of the segments 12 and the outer peripheries of the fireproof panels 14 and concurrently serving as heat insulating and drain passages. Each fireproof panel 14 is formed with a fireproof and incombustible material such as a ceramic into a thin plate shape. An inorganic fiber material 18 such as rock wool is fixed on the back face side of each fireproof panel 14 over the whole face. The inorganic fiber material 18 is filled in the space 16 formed between the inner periphery of the segment 12 and the outer periphery of the fireproof panel 14 and concurrently serving as heat insulating and drain passages when the fireproof panel 14 is installed.
