PURPOSE:To suppress temperature rise of motor and side effect thereof, i.e., uneven recording paper feed, as low as possible by modifying the driving frequency according to the motor temperature. CONSTITUTION:A motor controller 21 controls the pulse rate (driving frequency) and the driving current of a step motor such that the step motor is driven intermittently depending on the writing state of image data at a recording section while furthermore modifies the pulse rate and the driving current of the step motor when the motor temperature detected through a thermister 19 exceeds a predetermined level. Pulse rates and driving current values for the motor temperatures are previously defined on a pulse rate table 22. |
