PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of the insufficiency of temperature at the end in an induction heating type fixing device using a coil having a winding part parallel with the rotary shaft direction of a heating roller in order to reduce the loss of magnetic flux. SOLUTION: The heating roller is made to generate heat by a magnetic field generating means constituted of the coil having the winding part nearly parallel with the rotary shaft of the heating roller and a magnetic field generating means constituted of the coil having the winding part nearly parallel with a direction orthogonal to the rotary shaft of the heating roller.
