PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more accurately position a component at a test head. SOLUTION: This component tester 1 is constructed, so that the component is sucked at the component transfer position of a component supply device 41A and positioned at the test head by heads 48 and 52 (conveying means) of a pair of indexers 40A and 40B. A first component recognizing camera 65 (component imaging means), for imaging the component sucked by the heads 48 and 52, is disposed at the transfer position. A control means of the camera 65 checks the state of suction of the component from an image of the component imaged by the camera 65, and controls the heads 48 and 52, so as to position the component at the test head 4 by coupled with state of suction.
