<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for the fermentation treatment of an organic waste, especially a vegetable waste such as mowed grass and trimmed twig to a fully fermented compost in a short time in high efficiency. SOLUTION: A treating object is fermented in two stages comprising the quick forced fermentation as the 1st step and the aging fermentation as the 2nd step. The quick forced fermentation is carried out in a semi-closed environment for 24-72hr under controlled temperature, moisture and stirring conditions and the aging fermentation of the product of the 1st step is performed for 60-90 days in stacked state opened to atmosphere. The waste may be incorporated with fermented crude refuse, ash or carbonized material in the 2nd fermentation step.</p> |
