PURPOSE: Provided is a fluid dispenser equipped with a nozzle assembly safe for children which prevents an accidental occurrence by children and is readily operated by adults. CONSTITUTION: The fluid dispenser includes a dispenser main body, a nozzle cap and a nozzle cover. The nozzle cap moves along its longitudinal axis and is mounted on the main body. The nozzle cap rotates between the on and off positions around the longitudinal axis. The nozzle cover is disposed over the nozzle cap and moves the longitudinal axis of the nozzle cap. The nozzle cap and the nozzle cover have a gear. The gear is spaced from the nozzle cap to prevent the nozzle cap from rotating by the rotation of the nozzle cover when the nozzle cover is in a first longitudinal position and is coupled with the nozzle cap to enable the nozzle cap to rotate by the rotation of the nozzle cover when the nozzle cover is in a second longitudinal position.
