<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To comfortably use a file accumulation server system by arranging a function for receiving a request (transfer, rejection, waiting, and the like) from a file receiving side in a server storing a file. <P>SOLUTION: The file accumulation server 10 connected to one or more terminals communicatively is provided with a function for storing the file received from a file transmission source terminal 21 in an own storage device for management. When the transmission source terminal 21 designates a file transmission destination terminal 22, the file accumulation server 10 notifies the transmission destination terminal 22 that the file is kept in the file accumulation server. If a reply to the notification is given from the transmission destination terminal 22, the reply is received.
