PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To authenticate a first computer through a third computer when the first computer can not be directly authenticated by a second computer. SOLUTION: When a user information terminal 101 is not authenticated by a server terminal 103 as shown by an arrow F', the user terminal 101 requests a mediating user information terminal 102-1 to mediate authentication as shown by an arrow F. The mediating user information terminal 102-1 requests a mediating information terminal 102-2 which seems to be authenticated by the server terminal 103 to mediate authentication as shown by an arrow G. The mediating user information terminal 102-2 requests the server terminal 103 to execute authentication as shown by an arrow H, and when authentication is recognized, the user information terminal 101 is registered in the server terminal 103, and the user information terminal 101 is authenticated by the server terminal 103 afterwards.
