PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vector image with removed black bar of a modelled object. SOLUTION: For computing a vector image of a view of a modelled object with removed black bar, a bitmap image of the modelled object with removed black bar is first computed in a graphic card (step 22). For each line of the modelled object, a raster of the bar in the same view is computed (step 26). The pixels of the raster are compared with corresponding pixels of the bitmap image (step 30), to determine whether there exists in the bitmap image pixels corresponding to the pixels of the raster.
