<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device for range hood fans which derives the interior capability of a range hood fan, adds gorgeousness to it, improves the feeling of use of a kitchen, and creates a pleasant atmosphere as a fashion. <P>SOLUTION: The device is provided with a colorless or colored glass pane 6 having optical transparency provided in the top cover 11 of a hood object 1, and a lighting implement for radiating the glass pane 6 from below. By setting values of areas, positions, transmission factors, etc. for an optically semi-transparent portion 16 and an optically nontransparent portion to be worked in the glass pane 6, beams of faint soft light are radiated from the semi-transparent portion 16, and bright light is radiated with lucid texture peculiar to a holohyaline substance from a clear portion 26 with appropriate illuminance adjusted to the atmosphere (condition of darkness) of an installation part, design nature unique to the range hood fan (A), its size, etc. By doing this way, the range hood fan (A) is effectively lit up, and the ceiling part of the kitchen which is conventionally in a dark atmosphere is made brighter. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
