STRESS INHIBITOR OF ENDOPLASMIC RETICULUM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new stress inhibitor of endoplastic reticulum effective for preventing and/or treating neurodegeneration disease representative of senile dementia (Alzheimer's disease), Parkinson's disease and Huntington's disease, and derived from a mushroom.

SOLUTION: The stress inhibitor of the endoplastic reticulum contains a lipophilic extracted component derived from Souou (a mushroom belonging to the genus Phellinus). Preferably, the Souou is at least one selected from Phellinus linteus, Phellinus igniarius, Phellinus baumii and Porodaedalea pini.
