<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system having enhanced safety by using organic compound in solid state at room temperature as a fuel. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell system is provided with a fuel cell composed of an anode, a cathode, and electrolyte, and a storing part storing the organic compound fuel in solid state at room temperature.
