FIELD: medicine; orthopaedics. ^ SUBSTANCE: ligamentary-muscular system is examined with ultrasonic scanning. Horizontal scanning is carried out first and then followed with sagittal scanning along the full spinal. In case increased echogenicity and heterogeneous structure of muscular tissue and intermuscular fascias caused by hyperechoic inclusions without "acoustic tracks" are detected within injured segment and three segments higher and lower of injury; in case increased echogenicity of supraspinal ligaments within the third and fourth segments more distal of fracture level are increased echogenicity of supraspinal ligaments within the second, third and fourth segments more proximal and distal of fracture level, structural changes of back soft tissues associated at compression vertebra fractures within thoracic spine. ^ EFFECT: method widens range of means for diagnostics of structural changes in paravertebral back soft tissues associated with compression vertebra fractures within thoracic spine. ^ 4 dwg, 1 tbl, 3 ex |
