Pore-forming protein toxins (MPPTs) are provided that comprise a cytokine -receptor targeting unit. The MPPTs according to the present invention are c apable of selectively targeting cytokine receptor bearing cells. Optional fu rther modifications that allow specific targeting of these molecules are als o described. Methods of using these MPPTs to treat cancer and other diseases are also described.
