PURPOSE:To get a superior distribution of indoor temperature and to improve comfortable feeling by a method wherein a thermal medium circulation pump keeps a specific weight of thermal medium, characteristic of thermal medium of the pump at a normal temperature and a flow rate during water supply in response to a height difference in installation between an indoor device and a hot water panel and concurrently it may keep a flow rate in a heating operation. CONSTITUTION:An air conditioner is composed of an outdoor device 1 having a thermal medium heating device 2 connected to a heat exchanger 14 through a thermal medium circulation pump 7 and a flow passage valve 11 connected to the thermal medium heating device 2, and of a hot water panel 18 connected to the flow passage valve 11 and a heat exchanger valve 16. The thermal medium circulation pump 7 of the outdoor device 1 has a full head of a water column height of a pump of normal temperature larger than that of a maximum head difference between the outdoor device 1 and the indoor device 13 multiplied by the specific gravity of the thermal medium. The thermal medium circulation pump 7 of the outdoor device 1 has a characteristic for keeping a circulating flow rate of the hot thermal medium not damaging any heating capability during a heating operation. In addition, the installing heights of the outdoor device 1 and the indoor device 13 are set at a maximum value of 5m and the thermal medium in the thermal medium heater 2 of the outdoor device 1 is antifreezing liquid. |
