METHOD FOR ON-LINE FORECASTING HEAVY EARTHQUAKES

The invention relates to geophysics and can be used for performing scientific researches and forecasting heavy earthquakes.The invention is aimed at developing a method for on-line forecasting magnitude and time of approaching earthquake.The method is characterized in that the earthquake predicted time and its magnitude are determined by a sudden change of thickness growth in trees taking into account inadequate rats behavior placed in cages and positioned near experimental trees. The speed and value of tree growth are determined by the difference of tree circuit taking into account environmental medium effects, a comparative analysis of the measurement results and rats behavior are performed based on which a conclusion is made of approaching earthquake and its magnitude.
