An apparatus is provided to grind four sides of a glass sheet used for manufacturing a flat panel display without turning the glass sheet or a suction table so that the width of apparatus is minimized for cost reduction and transportation. A grinding apparatus(200) for grinding four sides of glass used for manufacturing a flat panel display includes a first suction table which holds a sheet of glass to grind a first longer side and a first shorter side, a horizontal transfer device(260) which transfers the glass sheet after grinding the first longer side and the first shorter side, a second suction table which holds the transferred glass sheet to grind a second longer side and a second shorter side, a first grinding device(230) which grinds the first longer side on the first suction table, a second grinding device(240) which grinds the first shorter side on the first suction table and the second shorter side on the second suction table, and a third grinding device(250) which grinds a second longer side on the second suction table. |
