A motor-driven folding door apparatus is provided to fold and open a door by sliding the door along a guide rail attached to the ceiling with a moving unit including a motor. A motor-driven folding door apparatus comprises doors, a roof truss(14), a guide rail(12), and a moving unit(10). The doors are hinged together so that they can open and fold. The roof truss is attached to the ceiling. The guide rail is attached to the bottom of the roof truss. The moving unit links with the door by the medium of a shaft, moves the door along the guide rail. The moving unit includes a guide roller(18), a moving housing(16), a silling portion, a fixing protrusion, a bearing, a fixing bracket(30), a connection bracket(26), and a drive unit(35). The guide roller moves on the guide rail in the moving housing. The silling portion is forming in the moving housing vertically. The fixing protrusion rotates with regard to the silling portion. The bearing is sandwiched between the silling portion and the fixing protrusion to help the fixing protrusion rotate. The fixing bracket is attached to the top of a door shaft(32) located at the center of the door. The connection bracket connects the fixing bracket with the fixing protrusion. The drive unit, which is installed in the moving housing, moves the moving housing along the guide rail. |
