PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biosensor substrate that prevents nonspecific adsorption, fixing biological active materials and imparting transparency. SOLUTION: The biosensor substrate is constituted of an inorganic oxide on the substrate and a hydrophilic polymer having a biological active material fixing group; and the hydrophilic polymer, bonded to the membrane, formed from an inorganic oxide via a low-molecular compound. comprises an inorganic oxide film and a hydrophilic polymer having a physiologically active substance-immobilizing group on the substrate, wherein the hydrophilic polymer is bound to the inorganic oxide film via a low molecular compound.
