RELAY DEVICE

A relay device operates as a relay unit arranged between a mobile terminal as an audio source and an earphone which outputs audio, and preferably performs wireless transmission/reception of audio data to/from a mobile terminal and transmission of an operation signal to a mobile terminal. A headset is mounted on the relay unit so that the relay unit can be used as a wireless headset via a Bluetooth communication with a mobile terminal. On the other hand, the relay unit is connected to a mobile terminal with a shield cable which also functions as a broadcast reception antenna during digital mobile broadcast reception. Moreover, while the relay unit is connected to a mobile terminal by a cable, the battery for driving a circuit in the relay unit is charged.
