<p>A hinge device installed between a first member (1) and second member (2) of a folding open/close member. The hinge device has a cam section (4), a first installation body (3) pivoting together with the first member (1), a tubular second installation body (6) pivoting together with the second member (2), a cam engagement member (5) engaging with the cam section (4), and a compression spring body (7) for pressing and urging the cam engagement member (5). The first installation body (3) is pivotally and slidably provided inside the tubular second installation body (6). The second installation body (6) is provided with an opening (8) having a slit section (9). Because of the slit section (9), the opening (8) can be expanded in diameter. To install the compression spring body (7), the opening (8), which can be expanded in diameter, is expanded from an initial diameter, and after the compression spring body (7) is installed, it is prevented from dropping out by the opening (8), at the initial position before the diameter expansion. An electronic apparatus using the hinge device is also provided.</p> |
