FIELD: physics; transportation. ^ SUBSTANCE: rig includes raised roadway passage, guide bed, load trolley for wheel mounting and loading, and wheel drive. Additionally, the rig contains heat-insulated container, heater and cooler, air circulation fan from intracontainer space through heaters and coolers and slit box mounted in the container and provided with perforated pipes for simulated rain. The load trolley contains load-and-lever arrangement and vertical guides with wheel axis fork whereon worm and planetary reduction gearbox and electric motor are installed. The fork contains roadway pressure cell with load-and-lever arrangement prism rested thereon. Wheel roadway shear is measured with using pressure cells installed on the ends of vertical guides of load trolley from both sides of the fork. ^ EFFECT: pavement testing brought to real-life environment. ^ 4 cl, 2 dwg |
