METHOD OF INTEGRATED AUTOMATIC WAVELENGTH ASSIGNMENT ON ASON MANAGEMENT SUBSYSTEM, AND NETWORK MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

An integrated automatic wavelength assignment method in an ASON(Automatic Switched Optical Network) system and a network management system are provided to build various resource information from various network devices and signal kinds of the ASON, thereby performing synchronization and stable network connection management. A network connection management unit(105) analyzes collected device configuration management information and malfunction management information to build and maintain a resource list per a transmission signal and a wavelength feature. The network connection management unit selects the shortest connection route by using collected network phase information. The network connection management unit configures an available wavelength list in response to a bandwidth request of a manager. The network connection management unit determines a final available wavelength in consideration of convergence elements including wavelength variable or fixed information.
