A full stroke checking Method of an EGR valve is provided to check a valve and assembly state again by lighting an engine check lamp in case valve state and link assembly condition are abnormal. A full stroke checking Method of an EGR valve comprises: a step for reciprocating an actuator once from the completely closing position of the valve to determined position after initialization learning mode is completed in key on an engine; a step for determining that valve state and link assembly condition are normal in case the rotation angle is a determined angle or greater and operation is completed within the determined time by checking whether the valve and the actuator normally operate within the determined time to the determined location; and a step for lighting an engine check lamp by recognizing position error in case the rotation angle is less than the determined angle or the operation is not completed within the determined time.
