A method for production of high-grade cast iron includes melting of charge in a melting unit, modification which is carried out in the casting ladle, which consists of the primary modification with addition alloy, which contains rare-earth metals and silicon, and the secondary modification. The primary modification is carried out at first with addition alloy which additionally includes a compound with magnesium, which is laid on the bottom of ladle near the wall in the special pocket and it is covered with ferrosilicon. And the secondary modification is carried out after filling the volume of the ladle with metal. At that the secondary modification is carried out with addition alloy which includes the carbonates of barium and strontium. |
