<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for carrying out an in-situ synthesis of saccharide type molecules on the surface of a solid support which is modified by a hydroxyl functional group. <P>SOLUTION: The method for carrying out the in-situ synthesis of the saccharide type molecules on the surface of the solid support, which is modified by the hydroxyl functional group, includes: the step (a) of bringing at least one area A<SB>1</SB>of the surface into contact with a solution including, in its solvent, a first saccharide portion SM<SB>1</SB>having at least one hydroxyl group protected by a protecting group P, thereby linking the first saccharide portion SM<SB>1</SB>to the hydroxyl functional group on the surface; and the step (b) of inactivating unreacted hydroxyl functional groups on the surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
