An organic light emitting element comprises: a first electrode; a hole transport region provided on top of the first electrode; a luminous layer provided on top of the hole transport region; an electron transport region provided on top of the luminous layer; and a second electrode provided on top of the electron transport region. The electron transport region comprises a compound represented by chemical formula 1. The organic light emitting element has high efficiency and long lifespan.
