<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal transfer image receiving sheet which can obtain a high density, a small defect and a good image quality also in a different printing speed. <P>SOLUTION: In the thermal transfer image receiving sheet with an insulating layer and a receiving layer, the heat conductivity of this insulating layer is not less than 0.06 W/m K and not more than 0.30 W/m K, and also the receiving layer containing at least one kind or more of a compound represented by equation (I) is formed by an aqueous coating, where R<SP>1</SP>and R<SP>2</SP>may be equal to or different from each other, and represent hydrogen, a hydroxy group or an alkyl group having a carbon number of 1 to 8; X represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a nitro group, a cyano group, an aryl group, an alkyl group having a carbon number of 1 to 8, a lower alkenyl group, an aralkyl group, an alkoxy group or the like; m represents an integer of 1 to 4; and n represents 6-m but a plurality of R<SP>1</SP>, R<SP>2</SP>and X is present. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
