PURPOSE:To offer a power-supply device, in which the turn-ON time of switching elements 22 and 23 in a drive switching circuit 2 can be set short and the safe operating areas of the elements 22 and 23 can be set wide for the setting of the turn-ON time. CONSTITUTION:In a power-supply device which supplies power from a charging power supply 1 to an excitation lamp 3 of a solid pulse laser by a drive switching circuit 2, the above drive switching circuit 2 is provided with a capacitor 21 connected to the above power supply 1, a plurality of pieces of switching elements 22 and 23 connected in parallel between this capacitor 21 and the above lamp 3 and a control circuit 26 which turns-ON in order these elements 22 and 23 in each prescribed time. |
