PURPOSE:To obtain an image forming device capable of extending a space between a recording electrode and a recording medium. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic member 14 is attached in the vicinity of the down stream side in the carrying direction of toner compared with the recording electrode 1 provided on the outer periphery of a nonmagnetic cylinder 3, so that a magnetic field is biased from the top end part of the recording electrode 1 to the magnetic member 14, and the magnetic line of force is concentrated to the recording electrode of the magnetic member 14 to form the barrier of the magnetic line of force in the circumferential direction of the nonmagnetic cylinder 3. Thus, the movement of the toner A carried in the direction of the arrow A is disturbed by the barrier of the above-mentioned magnetic line of force, and more toner 2 is stayed on the recording electrode 1. Then, the toner 2 sequentially carried accompanying with the rotation of a rotary magnet 4 abutts on the barrier, so that pressure is given to the toner 2 stayed on the recording electrode 1. Consequently, the actual electric resistant value of the toner 2 is reduced, and the space between the recording electrode 1 and the recording sheet can be extended. |
