The present invention relates to a hinge device for a folding door, which improves the installation convenience of a folding door and enables the maintenance of the folding door by simply adjusting the height of the folding door without the disassembly of the folding door. The hinge device for a folding door comprises upper and lower hinges which are moved along rails installed in a ceiling and a floor. An upper hinge holder is installed in the bottom of an upper bearing assembly moved along the rail installed in the ceiling. Shaft support parts are formed to protrude from the top and bottom of the upper hinge holder. Shaft couplers formed in a pair of hinge pieces coupled to the door are alternately arranged between the shaft support parts. Hinge shafts are coupled to the shaft support parts and the shaft couplers.
