The present invention relates to a method for displaying a wide-angle autostereoscopic 3D image, and a device for displaying a wide-angle autostereoscopic 3D image using the method. The method comprises: determining a viewing location of a user in real time by using a tracking technology and associating the acquired viewing location with optical parameters of a display device; determining a width of a display unit group corresponding to the current location based on a distance between a spectroscopic unit and a display panel, a distance between the viewing location and the display panel, and a width of the spectroscopic unit; sequentially calculating gray scale values displayed by respective display units; and implementing a 3D image on the display panel based on display gray scale values of the respective display units. The display gray scale values of the respective display units are mixed values of pixel gray scale values corresponding to coordinate values of the corresponding display units among at least two plane images constituting the 3D image. According to the present invention, a viewing angle can be efficiently magnified, and the gray scale values of the display units can be continuously controlled in real time, thereby implementing a smooth display effect and reducing occurrence of a jitter phenomenon on a screen occurring when a viewing location of a user changes. |
