PURPOSE:To produce the titled reinforcing material having excellent workability and light weight, suitable for mass-production, and useful as the inner wall of automobile door, etc., by forming a rib to a prepreg sheet containing an UV-curable resin composition using a mold, and curing only the rib part. CONSTITUTION:A prepreg sheet 6 obtained e.g. by impregnating a substrate with a UV-curable resin composition is made to contact with a mold having a protrusion 21, and a rib 6b is formed to the sheet 6 e.g. by heating the sheet. The objective reinforcing material can be produced by curing only the rib part 6b with ultraviolet radiation. The reinforcing material is bonded e.g. to a thin steel plate 26 using a primer consisting of a UV-curable resin composition. |
