PURPOSE:To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery with a high discharge capacity, high voltage and excellent charge/discharge cycle characteristics. CONSTITUTION:In a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery constituted of a positive electrode, a negative electrode storing or discharging lithium, and a nonaqueous electrolyte containing lithium ions, lithium 1.5-2 mole is electrochemically doped to vanadium pentaoxide 1 mole as the active material of the positive electrode, a lithium counter electrode is charged to the potential 3.5-4V, and an undoping treatment is applied for use. |
