PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact zoom lens that offers reduced aberrations at the telephoto end, a wide view angle, a high zoom ratio, and good optical performance over an entire zoom range.SOLUTION: A zoom lens comprises, in order from the object side to the image side, a first lens group having positive refractive power, a second lens group having negative refractive power, a third lens group having positive refractive power, and one or more rear groups, where distance between each pair of adjacent lens groups changes while zooming and where a lens group located on the most image side comprises two or more lenses. A partial dispersion ratio θgFr and Abbe number νdr of a material of each lens of the lens group located on the most image side, a focal length f1 of the first lens group, and a focal length fw of the entire system at the wide-angle end are set appropriately.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
