PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid discharge device which efficiently recovers a waste fluid and prevents incorrect attachment of a tank.SOLUTION: A liquid discharge device of the invention includes: a liquid discharge head 1 configured to discharge a liquid; a tank capable of storing the liquid or a waste fluid recovered from the liquid discharge head 1; and a first attachment part and a second attachment part to which the tank is detachably attached. The tank has an attachment switching mechanism which switches an attachment state of the tank between a first state where the tank is attached to the first attachment part and may supply the liquid to the liquid discharge head 1 and a second state where the tank is attached to the second attachment part and may recover the waste fluid from the liquid discharge head 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
