The device (D1) has a calculating unit (M1) for estimating an operation speed of an actuator according to minimal and maximum positions of a clutch. A regulation unit (M3) determines a current command for operating a solenoid to allow the proper placement of the solenoid in a position defined by received instructions based on a standardized position of the actuator. A management unit (M2) determines an activation control command based on the estimated speed, the standardized position and two management information (20, 21). The management unit determines an availability state of the actuator.
