PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for determining an entity attribute value.SOLUTION: A device includes: a unit for performing search in the Internet or a database by using the designation or alias of an entity as a keyword to determine the data source of the entity; a unit for calculating the reliability of the data source on the basis of similarity between each record in each data source and all entities in a predetermined entity aggregation; a unit of calculating the reliability of each attribute value of the entity on the basis of the reliability of each data source; and a unit for determining the attribute value of the entity on the basis of the reliability of each attribute value. Thus, it is possible to discover the attribute value with the highest reliability on the basis of entity attributes and attribute values in a plurality of data sources, and to complement the attribute of the entity.
