According to the present invention, disclosed are a method and an apparatus for managing intellectual property. According to an embodiment, the apparatus for managing intellectual property may comprise: a memory which stores intellectual property data with respect to an applicant; and a processor which detects intellectual property of a user accessed to the apparatus for managing intellectual property and intellectual property of a non-user from the intellectual property data based on information with respect to the applicant, and provides information to the user by sorting the information about the intellectual property of the user and the intellectual property of the non-user. |
