PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fiber-reinforced injection molded article having a projection which has high strength and rigidity and is suitable for reduction in thickness.SOLUTION: A fiber-reinforced injection molded article has a plate-like portion 2 and a projection 4 projecting from at least one surface of the plate-like portion 2. The plate-like portion 2 and the projection 4 are formed of a reinforced fiber 5, and a matrix resin 8 integrated with the reinforced fiber 5. A thermoplastic resin is used in the matrix resin 8. The reinforced fiber 5 is formed of a continuous fiber embedded in the matrix resin 8. The reinforced fiber 5 has a first core portion 5a arranged in the inside of the plate-like portion 2, and a second core portion 5b which is branched in a projection direction of the projection 4 from the first core portion 5a and is arranged in the inside of the projection 4. The second core portion 5b exists continuously from the plate-like portion 2 to the projection 4, and extends in a direction where the projection 4 projects in the cross section in the thickness direction of the projection 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
