PURPOSE:To enable electromagnetic conversion characteristic and running property to be improved by using a non-magnetic support and a plurality of magnetic layers on it and containing a ferromagnetic allay powder on an upper layer and an oxide containing cobalt on a lower layer. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of magnetic layers which are equal to or more than two layers where a ferromagnetic powder is dispersed within a connecting agent are provided on a non-magnetic support. Then, an iron oxide powder containing cobalt, where an amount of adsorbed stearic acid is 3X10<-6>-6X10<-6>mol/m<3>, is contained at a lower magnetic layer. Also, a ferromagnetic metal or an alloy where the amount of adsorbed stearic acid is 6X10<-6>mol/m<2> or more is contained as a ferromagnetic powder of an upper magnetic layer and the above upper magnetic layer includes at least one type of organic phosphor compound which is expressed by general expressions I-III. Dispersion is improved by using the above organic phosphor compound, electromagnetic conversion characteristics are improved, and running property is improved. |
