摘要

PURPOSE: To provide a bonded nonwoven web and thermoplastic net-like web composite comprising at least one layer of a uniform basis weight bonded fibrous nonwoven web and at least one layer of a thermoplastic net-like web so as to produce stable fabric useful in applications such as carpet backing and packaging. CONSTITUTION: There is provided a bonded nonwoven web and thermoplastic net-like web composite comprising at least one layer of a uniform basic weight bonded fibrous nonwoven web comprising a plurality of substantially randomly disposed, substantially continuous thermoplastic filaments wherein the web has a basic weight uniformity index of 1.0±0.05 determined from average weights having standard deviations of less than 10%, adhered to at least one layer of a thermoplastic net-like web.
