<p>PURPOSE: To improve the electric connection of a multi-wavelength inflared ray detecting device. CONSTITUTION: A sufficient space, in which at least a connection body 15 of each higher order level detecting element 100 can be extended as far as to a substrate 3 via the lower order level part which is positioned between the lower order level active parts where an incident light 50 is concentrated by a condenser 55, can be obtained. The upper order level connection body 15 can be extended to the substrate via an island region 28 isolated from the active parts 22 and 23 of the lower order level 2 by a void 40, or along the side wall of the lower order level detection element which is separated by insulation or by a p-n junction from the active part of a lower order level detection element 20. Different responding elements can be arranged superposing vertically or they can be arranged by shifting each other in such a manner that one of them is positioned between the other ones.</p> |
