A device for actuating fluid control valves, particularly for reciprocating motors, has a plunger 28 with a pivotable connecting rod 30 to act on a deflector 46 and lever 44 to oscillate the latter, and means 50 connected to the lever to reciprocate at least one valve, 56 or 57, to connect the motor with either a discharge opening 62 or a source 70 of fluid under pressure. In the preferred embodiment, two valves are provided to control a double-acting motor connected to ports 66, 67, the port 67 being connected to fluid under pressure and the port 66 to discharge when the valves are in the illustrated position. Downward movement of the plunger 28 rocks the lever 44 to an oppositelyinclined position and displaces the means 50 upwardly so that notches 54, 55 reverse the positions of the valves 56, 57. Each of these valves has a tubular stem to control the connection to discharge and to actuate a disc 68 or 69 controlling the connection with the fluid source 70. The plunger 28 may be actuated manually, by an electromagnet, or by a solenoid-controlled pilot valve 16 having exhaust and supply ports 20, 22.</p> |
